when the Muslim community shows respect for the other religions of the world, I'm sure the rest of the world will show respect for theirs and the clash of civilizations will cease;

it is the other way around. Meaning that these "muslims" are crying out for help. Example like in Gaza, the Palestineans are being treated like 3rd class citizens, they dont have the same rights, their family members are being killed. But yet, when they ask the world for help, the world turns a blind eye. That is why they show no respect, because they are not even being treated as human beings. If an Israeli Jew were being treated that way we would all be called Anti semitic, but when u treat a Palestinean that way, you ignore when infact you are being anti semitic! arabs are semitic. Then will you see the clashes of civilizations cease. No justice no peace
