In response to Yields posted by allancoleman:

With the ten year treasury yield trading higher at this moment probably because weak hands money is moving back into stocks as the indexes trade higher , we could expect to give back some of our recent nav price appreciation .

With the ten year treasury yield trading higher again in the early going in the bond market this morning , expect the nav prices of our favorite Vanguard GNMAs to close lower again today .

If this ten year treasury yield closes as high as it is right now , we could definitely get quite a drop in the nav price of our favorite Vanguard GNMAs at the close today . For those who hold GNMAs already and aren't interested in selling , it doesn't matter cause we'll still collect the dividend guaranteed by the federal government printing presses at the end of every month .

Although it's still early in the trading day in the bond market , as traders think about exiting early for the holiday , the ten year treasury yield is lower this morning . This usually results in the nav prices of our favorite Vanguard GNMA funds ( VFIIX & VFIJX ) closing higher possibily giving back some of the price declines from yesterday . However we should easily stay withing the GNMA nav price ranges established so far this year of $10.25 for the bottom and $10.55 for the top as we continue to collect our dividend guaranteed by the printing presses of the federal government . happy
