In any event it is really a moot issue, but the above states that the open on 1-14-00 was 11,619, the high was 11,908, and it settles at 11,722. The markets were crazy then, but I don't remember that type of volatile day until spring that year. Is it really possible the market shot up that high then settled so much lower? If it is the case celebrating 11,722 really seems premature. Wouldn't 09.11.01 upside down be 10.11.60?
