On a typical short covering sell off stocks usually end up well off their lows. The real giveaway was that down volume was at least ten times more than up volume. Thus indicating there was no buying either by new longs or repurchases
by short sellers. An example is GME which has a 26% short position ended up only .20 cents above the low of the day.

I must say, the chart does look very much like an inverted head and shoulders.... lets see how low this does go.... or whether bottom is in....

I don't think the bottom is in yet, maybe tomorrow, but we still have a few more days of chopping up and back at these levels before we rally once more... I'll tell you here when I take long positions...

One isn't always right. My call on the
Nasdaq was almost correctly and began the
minute I posted. For timing traders there are many windows of expected movements. As we speak the market for example could have a big pop tomorrow.
You have to know the mindset of the individual.

Absolutely, you were 100% right about your call, it was right on target, great call!!! I simply follow my own model and it took a short at the right time, lucky for me... and again, you may be very right about a big pop up on Wednesday, I kind of suspect it too, but I always follow my model no matter what, it has done more for me in the long run that trying to guess...
