» GROUNDZERO - For the record...

In response to Fed cut the discount rate by 1/2 point... posted by GROUNDZERO:

I'm now long two contracts, one at 1410.00 and one at 1390.00, this gives me an average price of 1400.00 for the September contract... this dual position was entered by using the main down spiral as a trading guide as prices hit the lower boundary of the trading range as determined by the spiral itself... anyone who uses the model for his/her own account had the same opportunity and many did take advantage of this great buying opportunity... we should be well positioned now for the coming rally as this market eventually reaches for new bull market highs...

A confirmation of the low is still pending, but this is expected to occur no later than Tuesday, August 28th when an outright buy signal and confirmation is issued by the model...

Good tradiing to all...

There was a nice gap up in the futures this morning. I expect we will fill that gap before moving higher. But with the Fed now behind us, it WILL be higher for a while.

Let me try to clarify if you would. So the spiral model only gives resistance levels right? There's no guarantee that those levels will ever be reached? And if those levels aren't reached, we get some sort of movement that will create a new spiral right? That way the spiral is dynamic and we get the expected direction and resistance levels, which is like a maximum right?

Wrong, wrong, wrong, and wrong... let's see, did I address all your questions?

The model gives buy and sell signals... but, I suggest you read over the very early posts on this forum in order to get a grasp of how this model works, it's very user friendly as any of the users can tell you, but it's also far more sophisticated than your few questions imply and presume...

GZ what I try to interpret is a combination of you guys and the spirals, which do appear to be pretty darn good indicators of the market movement and tie that movement in with wave action. If we are starting a wave 4 up, then 16000 will be fast and furious followed by some sort of pause/correction/boyz manipulation then a wave 5 up. End result???? somewhere above 20,000 dow. So a move to 16000 would allow the boyz to suck down the market into a pre planned "spiral" gloom & doom then sky rocket it back up, just like they did here.

Talking about wave action, I might go to the beach today, the surf's up due to hurricane Dean, it's due south of us right now, just a few hundred miles...

Okay, so, according to your wave theory, does your model give you a time frame, however roughly, that we would see DOW 16000 and DOW 20000? I tend to agree with you that we'll see much higher levels... thanks in advance...
