I think the downside risk at this point is to about 1473.50 to 1475.00... from there (if we get there), we should then rally to new highs...

The second grouping of lower highs are around that price... previous resistance usually offers support, so we'll see if this holds, I suspect it will since I believe the trend is up right now... this morning weakness is a buying opportunity for those who missed yesterday's opportunity...

The main down spiral is still intact and still short. It looks like there is a new mini down that has a wall price of 1392.66. Now, THAT would shake things up a bit!

Or, we are in a final re-test of last weeks lows...

I just got back in from meetings all day with my new business partners, it looks like our trip to Rome is drawing very near now... I can hardly wait!!!

What a wild and whacky day, my "just in case" stop at 1481.00 was hit for all 4 positions (averaged at 1480.125), this was just about a point above break even, so I'm flat right now, and I cannot believe these markets... I didn't use the regular 2 or 3 point stops because I wanted the market to breathe without getting stopped out, but a break even is always a smart place to protect yourself no matter what...

Apparently, the mini buy worked nicely for one day, and Icha is 100% correct that the main down spiral is still pointing lower and has been short and pointing lower all along, hard to believe... I think the mini spirals have been causing more angst than anything lately, I find it far better to ride the main spiral both up and down no matter what else happens... I was wrong to say the trend was up while the main spiral was still pointing lower, my mistake... the main spiral gave a sell signal at 1542.25 and still has not looked back... okay, so this only means I'm human (okay, let's hear the laughs) and one could have remained short all along... well, nobody's perfect, especially me... so now I'm flat, and it's just as well, I'll be away from the markets tomorrow from mid day until closing... my trip to Rome is drawing very close, this is the non market project I was mentioning a month or more ago... I'll have more for you on this once we get our flights scheduled and confirmed and we go to Rome to ink this deal...

Looks like so far the market went right down to the previous lows of around the 1432 range. Maybe this could be a quick one for a pop to the upside. will have to wait and see.
