Thank you, that makes excellent sense, that the tech stocks are going to show more business growth next year and in the years to come... I'm also now trading the NAZ because it looks like a powerhouse!!! With the DOW making new all time highs, maybe we'll see the NAZ reach above that 5000 level once more...

Does that mean you are beginning to plot spirals on a NAZ Index? As I ponder that, I wonder if the spiral is unique to the S&P or is it universal enough to apply to any number of indices with a few tweaks here and there?

Hi Pat, great question... I've not been able to fit the model to the NAZ quite yet, but when I get a signal in the SP's, I also take positions in the NAZ and DOW futures also... my initial curiosity was how solid the NAZ is compared to these other two major market indices... the NAZ looks like it will eventually reach and exceed the previous 5000 level, and I surely don't want to miss it... I think 2007 may well be nearly as bullish...

I'm not at all suggesting that the NAZ could possible reach 5,000 in 2007, but that it looks like it will eventually return to that level (and beyond) and that 2007 will be a contributor to that end...

I think that we are in for a 3-5% retracement very soon. Many traders
still have losses to offset gains
for tax purposes.

Very possibly, but I think the SP's may find support at the 1393ish level, basis December... then it's on to new highs once more, I believe this rally is far from over...
