Others seem to agree with you , Mike :

A body in motion tends to remain in motion until stopped by an unmoveable object . ... like maybe rates going to low for to long as before . ? ?

I think the only question left is how much will the cut be . A quarter , a half , or more . Bill Gross is calling for a Fed funds rate of 3% in the future .

I wouldn't put too much stock in that this year. Stocks have been very volatile and very lopsided (both up and down). The "Hindenberg Omen" has been triggered several times this year.

If the assumptions of the above article are right, I see a lot of downside ahead. Still very comfortable holding my short position.

» Sam78 - Bull Market Long In The Tooth

I don't claim to be the technical expert that those on this board are, but in my limited knowledge, isn't this Bull getting old...almost 5 years now dating back to March of 03, or over 5 years now if you relate it to October of 02. What are the thoughts out there on this bull run we've had? Is it getting tired? Do I see a head and shoulders formation on the S & P which is bearish? John Bogle and others say not to time the market, but gee we have an awful lot of profits in hand since the aforementioned lows were made a few years ago and makes me want to get more conservative. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
