I ran across an account of the weather in Feb., 1905 in the USA. It was extremely cold with 40 below temps as far south as Missouri. There was ice on the Delaware River which closed Philadelphia to ship traffic. Blocks of ice were floating in the rivers around New York. There are cycles of warming and cooling - everyone agrees.
